College credits can be obtained in many ways.  Students can take dual credit classes, AP classes and tests, and CLEP tests.  When students have taken a challenging course , a student may be able to pass a CLEP test.  The CLEP test measures what the student knows in a particular subject area.  I am putting the link to the CLEP infoormation.  You will be able to find locations which offer the test, sample questions, etc. on this link.  Before you spend money on CLEP tests, be sure the college you plan to attend will accept the credits.  If you plan on transferring, talk to the Registrar at the college at which you plan on completing your degree.
